Studio Space

I’ve gotten pretty far on my studio space, and have even started work on the painting with no goal and no end.

Space Itself:

I’ve finally hung up my stuff on the walls, and even sorted some of my stuff into shelves. I’m debating on how I want to organize toys and trinkets. As of right now they’re sorted by thing (animals, nature, cars, people, etc..) but I saw a TikTok on how someone else sorted their trinkets by color, and I have a rainbow drawer set, so I wonder if i should do that instead and just match it to the drawer color.

I also got adapters for the wall outlets, since it’s an old house all the outlets are two-prong only, so I bought three-prong adapters.

Painting with no end:

I’ve done a few layers, and added very textured layers already.

It turns out my gesso was hard, so I had to mix my own using some gesso powder that my professor gave me a few years ago and haven’t discovered a use for yet. It’s not perfect, I think it’s a little thin, and it separates every time I leave it for like an hour, but when mixed well it dries correctly. It’s a little chunky, also.

I’ve added dried paint, glue, glitter, globs of paint and modeling paste, colors just wherever, its been fun, whenever I have the drive I just walk on over and add something for a few minutes.
