Point and Shoot
Photography
Photographs from my point and shoots!
I’ve started to use photography as a documentation medium, much like journaling. My recent interest in older digital point-and-shoot cameras has allowed me to take photos without having to carry my large DSLR with me. I kind of just take photos of whatever, wherever, I don’t really need to be in the headspace of a photo-walk like with the DSLR. I think the ability to take a non-iPhone photo is an amazing ability to have nowadays. I find these photos to have an interesting look to them, not unlike that of a film camera. With point and shoot, there is no set-up, no manual settings, no manual focus, nothing. The era of cameras I have are entirely automatic in the focus, f-stop, and ISO, leaving nothing but composition for me to worry about.
